Relationship between physical development indicators and blood pressure level in school-age children

In the study, 848 school age children were examined. They divided into 3 groups: first group consisted of 182 with arterial hypertension, second – 78 prehypertension and control 588 normal blood pressure level. The physical development was assessed according to generally accepted unified method. level measured an automatic tonometer three times, calculation average value. results using percentile tables. Statistical processing data obtained carried Microsoft Office Excel Statistica 10.0 programs. When analyzing anthropometric indicators, it found that Z-index body mass index in significantly higher than pressure. There a difference circumference waist hips as compared from groups. Based on study epidemiological analysis statistical out overweight obesity are significant risk factors for hypertension (OR = 3.36; RR 2.50; specificity 0.81; sensitivity 0.43). correlative cluster analyses suggest relationship between indicators schoolchildren.
